I made a Figma plugin that generates abstract spirals for designs and graphics.

While researching mandala art, I found a project that simulates harmonographs. It uses pendulums to draw beautiful patterns that swing for minutes, creating mesmerizing spirals.

The math behind it uses sine waves and friction to mimic real pendulum motion, creating perfectly imperfect spirals you can save or export as PNGs and SVGs.

Using the original source code, I turned it into a plugin anyone can use right inside Figma.

More than 1,000 designers have used it so far.
